Lets back to main thing – wifi antennas. Its enough hardware for now.
I hate omni antennas – they are pain to be made and to be tuned – it so hard to get one running – it hard even to buy one working.
This omni antenna is strange , I can not get the idea here.
13dbi Omni WIFI Antenna – this must be an Do It Yourself version of HACKED original omnidirectional wifi antenna.
Look interesting but I do not promise anything here.
Materials needed for this DIY antenna :
PVC tube 20 mm,
PVC tube with copper tube inside of it and inner diameter 15mm,
2.5mm copper wire

There are two spinals here – one is clear – but I cant get were is connected second one.
UPDATE – there is metal ring in the center of this antenna ! Here second line is connected.

On the www.lan23.ru are updated page for building wifi swr meter. mcWit was able to find replacement of the BAT62-03W Schottky diode used by pe2er.nl in his design. New diode is hsms-2822
There are several changes in the elements in due diode change. I can’t understand everything written on the site. But everything is there and all is build and tested.
Now just need to wait for more documentation.
