Mikrotik new router boards RB113

As I said I am in Barcelona for the holidays - and I preparing a small project here.

I have a small park near me , but I cant get any free or open network around - so I decided to make small spot.

I decided to try and test something new and I ordered one of the new Routerboard models RB133 :

I have one pc running Mikrotik and I am very happy whit it - I forgotten the password for it - no one problem for a year or more. :)

Interesting about these board is the working temperature - this should work in temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees (-4°F to 158°F).

It have integrated POE, watchdog, serial port so this board just makes some things easy. And lets do not forget the price 65 Euro.

I also ordered one cm9 a/b/g card - to make some test whit this board.

I searched for a shop in Barcelona, but whit no success - so I ordered parts from the internet - a Spanish reseller of router boards - www.landashop.com , but because Christmas I expect to receive boards after holidays.

    Hi did you recieved the board ?
    If so please post the results
    I am interested in this board or maybee an ALIX (lx800 500mhz )
    The only thing i thing is not good on this board is the CPU (175 mips) ,i don’t know if it can deal with two mini-pci at full throttle

    Hi , I still not received this board - a lot of holiday days here in Spain. I maked an order on 21-th December so I hope to get this till 11-th January because I fly back to Bulgaria on 12.1 :)

    I promised to buy one of this ALIX boards - to make a replace of the installed hardware on His spot - it will be interesting to test new hardware and share a results. Good about ALIX boards is that You do not get trapped with the OS that You must use. You can choose something else than mikrotik - my friend is mad about OpenBSD so I suppose that this will be installed.

    This new router boards must work twice fast than old ones - so slow cpu must not be a problem - there is a throughput test on the site.
    The reason for chose this board - I need a small /dimension and performance/ and the price is reasonable - even if you buy a power source and a good outdoor case. This new RB411 :) will be perfect if they make a AP version.

    So I’m still waiting …
