5Ghz Slotted Waveguide
Some photos of my 5ghz slotted waveguide antenna project - never finished and tested due lack of proper hardware to test.
Made from aluminum tube and calculated whit hlssa program.
This is ten slots dual side design.

Hi, i have a 5 Ghz VSWR meter, nice page BTW, i made a 2.4 ghz Trevor Marshall (Rob Clark Mod) Antenna with less than 1.5:1 VSWR, now im interested on make the 5 Ghz slotted antenna, i saw it here http://www.wlanparts.com/product/58EOH9/Antenna_58GHZ_OUTDOOR_OMNIDIRECTIONAL_HPOL_9DBI_58EOH9.html
I can help you to find the best VSWR, i need to know what measures did you use.

Hi thanks for a comment, I must find this and get dimensions or my plans for this one. I used HLSSA soft to calculate slots using dimensions of the tube I had.
Please give me more info about your VSWR meter.

its not tested.
and I did not used HLSSA program - as i remember it was some web calculator but cant remember the web address.

Hi again, the vswr meter is a praxim 2.4/5.8 Ghz i think it is discontinued but it is excellent. Ill try the 5 ghz antenna and let you knwo, thanks for help.

hi there… very interest to your design, i have build slotted waveguide at 2.4 ghz to…. at your pdf i cant find the probe or an connector feeder. May i know what to use and the feeder size ?

i used simple dipole as I remember. i inserted original antenna inside the waveguide. never tried another feeds this just worked for me.
